Newmarket OSHC

Newmarket State School’s P&C association operates a licensed Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service, located within the school grounds. Care is available for children enrolled in Newmarket State School. The co-directors for the service are Vanessa Crowe and Emily Rendell.
A number of casual educators who hold a wide range of qualifications relating to the care of children are employed in OSHC roles. All our staff members are trained in first aid and hold a current suitability card for child related employment, issued by the Commission for Children and Young People. A list of their names is on the OSHC door.

An annual administration fee of $28.50 is charged.

Additional fees are charged for excursion days, depending on the activity. Please ask coordinator for details.
Definitions:
Booking (Prepaid): The booking has been made 2 full business days in advance for Before and After School Care and 10 full business days in advance for Vacation Care and Pupil Free Day Care and the account is in credit to cover the full fee when the roll is marked.
Booking (Postpaid): The booking has been made 2 full business days in advance for Before and After School Care and 10 full business days in advance for Vacation Care and Pupil Free Day Care and the amount in the account does not cover the full fee when the roll is marked.
No Booking: When a child/ren arrives at the centre without notice being given 2 full business days in advance for Before and After School Care and without a minimum 10 full business days notice in advance for Vacation Care/Pupil Free Days.
Bookings may be made by phone on 0490870199, email, through the booking book on the sign in/out table or in person 2 business days in advance for Before and After School Care. This practice will help in keeping the Staff to Child ratio correct.
Fees are reviewed annually.
